Services can be provided throughout the state of Georgia and the southeast.  Unfortunately, we are not able to accept Medicaid.

Drivers / Vehicles / Insurance Reliable, Safe & Responsible Drivers
Alliance Healthcare employs a complete screening program for new hires, and a rigorous training program, before putting our drivers on the road with passengers.
Our basic requirements for new drivers necessitate that drivers must:
  • Possess a valid Georgia driver’s license
  • Be licensed as a transportation driver for at least 3 full years
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Have experience transporting passengers
Our employment screenings include:
  • Employment background checks to investigate work history and experience
  • Criminal background checks, including a check for inclusion in the National Sex Offender Registry
  • Employee health screenings (which include a TB test) to determine physical aptitude before actively performing job duties
  • Drug and alcohol screenings
  • A review of the applicant’s driving record for points and serious offenses
Upon hire, all employees are guided through the following:
  • An overview of company policies (Including our Drug/Alcohol Abuse Policy, No-Smoking Policy, Sexual Harassment Policy, Firearms Policy, Cell Phone and Texting Policy, and Driver Code of Conduct)
  • Customer relations training
  • HIPAA training
  • The needs of those using mobility aids (example: wheelchairs)
  • The needs of Brain Injured/Dementia/Alzheimer passengers
  • CPR/first aid training
  • Fire extinguisher use review
  • Use of wheelchair lift and restraints
  • Driver safety/defensive driving
  • Severe weather training
  • Incident and accident reporting process

All of our drivers are First Aid/CPR certified, have training in ADA (American’s w/Disabilities Act) law and are trained as drivers and wheelchair accessible vehicle operators through a nationally accredited program (Community Transportation Association of America or CTAA).
 
We have a new fleet of Vans from 2015-2017 to suit your needs. Passenger Vans with capacity to carry 3 – 15 patients, equipped with:

Commercial Auto & Liability Insurance

All drivers and vehicles are insured. Our insurance policy has provisions for drivers and their passengers in the event of an accident.

Compliance with GDOT (Georgia Department of Transportation)

Under GDOT, all passenger vehicles must be registered with the state and fully inspected to comply with State safety standards. All vehicles comply with GDOT requirements and have required certificates and permits.
